I value creating healthy, inspiring, and productive relationships with my stakeholders, subject matter experts, and fellow teammates. I am conscientious about producing excellent work and meeting project goals and deadlines.

Most of my client projects the past twelve years include confidential content, requiring signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), which state that I cannot retain copies and share my work with potential clients. I value the nice things clients and colleagues say about my work and what it is like working with me and I share some of those positive remarks with you here.

Here are some nice mentions about my work
Wilson Learning Worldwide Inc / Kelly IT (2020)
I was brought on with the Wilson team to develop Storyline 360 activities for sales and leadership audiences. Wilson Learning is a 50 years young award-winning global training company. Their team is amazing to work with and I loved every minute of my time with them and the creative projects I worked on.

United Healthcare Group (UHG) / APEX Systems (2016)
I was hired for a five month contract with extension to develop eLearning courses in Adobe Captivate and served as a team co-lead to other developers. My design aesthetic was used by the whole team of six designers working on the courses in the series. I enjoyed working with UHG's financial team in developing eLearning for their Unified Data Warehouse.

"First, a quick THANK YOU for all your time and energy in supporting this project. We are getting close to completing
nearly all of the courses I originally planned for 2016. I could not have reached this goal without your help and for that I
am sincerely grateful!"- (to entire development team) - Kristine Sievert, Supervisor

Enjoy!" - Dr. Magy Martin, Faculty General Human Services, School of Public Service Leadership
"Hi Inglish. Now that I have reviewed the course, the project, the assignments and the discussions, my feedback to you is that I think you and your team figured out an excellent way to give the learners in this course increased theory competency, as defined by O. C. McSwite (2001). By the end of the course, they will have fully applied at least four theories to a case study, thought about the various theories, done research on them (if they follow the instructions) and justified their choice of theories. Those competencies are so much stronger than just learning the definitions of the theories. Great job!" (course: MPA5400 - Lisa developed with Dr. Inglish Morgan-Gardner.) Dr. Linda Roseburr, Part-Time Faculty, School of Public Service Leadership"

ASI Datamyte, Inc. / Digital People (2014)
I was initially hired as a short-term consultant to evaluate ASI Datamyte, Inc.'s existing training platform and make recommendations on developing an all new Learning Management System. The client loved my recommendations and extended my contract to 5 months, during which I developed a new training platform in Moodle LMS from the ground up and also worked with the awesome marketing team to develop blended learning new hire training.

Dell (2012 - 2013)
I was initially hired to serve as backfill for two Dell employees going on maternity leave. My team appreciated my work, and I loved working with them, and was soon after hired as a full-time Dell employee. Though I was ecstatic to be a Dell employee, I followed through with plans to move to Minnesota, where unfortunately no current remote Dell positions were available, so I resigned my position. I did go on to work for Dell as a contractor again for awhile, then at their request, as an employee of one of their primary vendors, SureSkills, to work as a consultant on Dell projects. Dell remains one of my favorite places to work. They have a true dedication to helping their customers succeed through their innovative hardware and solutions.

"Hi Lisa, I was just on a call with Makiyo...she will be sad to see you go, too. She said some very nice things about you on the call and I wanted to share them with you...Makiyo said she felt you were always very responsive, provided a lot of detail to her, and asked good questions when you needed information—all of which gave her a great deal of confidence in knowing the status of everything you were working on. She added that she really appreciated your communication style. Just thought I’d pass that along...Have a great day!" - Pete Herrera, Global Services Deployment Engagement Manager, Servers and Solutions

"By the way, in a hall conversation yesterday, Sydney [Director of Dell Global Services Deployment Learning and Development] acknowledged you are a rock star. Steven was commenting on the fact that we are an awesome and productive team (You, Landon, and I) Thanks!" - Carol Hobbs-Kates, Learning Performance Manager

"Hello Steve, I just want to take this moment to provide you feedback on two of your direct reports, which are Lisa Portzer and Kim Schroeppel. I have been working with them for the past month on the [redacted- confidential] project. I just want to tell you that they have been an excellent asset to your development group. They provided timely communication updates on the training material and critical feedback in our core team meetings. They are great listeners regarding feedback on the training material, which I believe very few people have this asset in general. They provide me confidence that the level of training material will not lower from the transition of Kim to Lisa, while Kim is on maternity leave. I could see them as an “everyday hero” candidate in the aspect that they understand what our customer needs. I am looking forward to the super work from both of them in future projects." - Ernesto Tulipano, Public Services GSDO Program Manager
