I design learner-centric training that is engaging, focused, meaningful, relevant, and immediately applicable. Training that transforms.

Most of my work for clients is confidential and I have signed NDAs, so I am unable to post copies to share. Below please view a video capture of a fully working sample I created in Articulate Storyline 3 for Optum Rx, as well as screenshots of actual work I developed in Adobe Captivate and Articulate Presenter. I have used these development tools for years as well as Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver for HTML training, Camtasia for creating simulations and other development tools. I am considered an advanced specialist and am able to develop eLearning modules that include complex interactions and work with complicated variables!

Thanks very much for stopping by to view my work!

Here is a video capture of a fully working sample I designed and developed in Articulate Storyline 3 for Optum Technology. The module content is made up, the module design is all my work. I used free stock images, the Optum Rx logo, screenshots, and icons. There is music on the first and last slides of this sample. I am currently working on a similar module with generic branding to replace the sample above. (2019)

Below are a screenshots of some of the modules I developed.
3M eLearning module, Maintain Mobility While Reducing Oedema, in Articulate Storyline 3 for the Critical and Chronic Care - Australia division of the 3M Health Care Academy. The template was designed by Sponge UK but the rest of the module was all my work. I wrote the script and performed the voiceover narration as well as all development. (2017)

I loved developing courses with my Capella University subject matter experts, consisting of doctoral and masters level faculty. Capella is an accredited online university, meaning that there are important standards that must be used to develop all Capella courses as well as careful alignments to competencies and other criteria to meet stringent requirements for accreditation. It is at Capella that I learned how to write rubrics as well as how to read and understand important data surrounding course metrics. As an Instructional Designer, it is part of my role to become a mini expert on topics presented in training courses. At the beginning of every quarter, the Instructional Designers received a stack of books, scholarly articles and other materials to use in course development, and I think we all geeked out over that. My time at Capella was amazing and appreciated. My Instructional Design team at Capella was top notch, inspirational, and exceptional. One of my courses, Instructional Design for Online Learning, developed with esteemed author and instructor, Dr. Rod Simms, earned a Quality Matters distinction, which was and still is a great honor for us. I loved working in downtown Minneapolis in the beautiful Capella Tower. I got to know the city by learning how to navigate the vast network of walkways that connect many of the buildings downtown. (2014 - 2016)

Captivate template design for Power eLearning/Telemark Productions of San Antonio, TX for their client SAIRS/Metro Health.
I created a full template set. (2010)

Avatars created for various eLearning modules and eLearning development in Adobe Captivate for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services / Center for Learning and Organizational Excellence (CLOE). (2010)

Here are a few screenshots from the very first two eLearning modules I developed at 3M, Selling Through Distribution and Fiber to the Home.  Both were developed in Articulate Presenter. I had previously been a graphic designer for the 3M Visual Systems division and brought those skills with me to my new eLearning Development role on the eBusiness Instructional Design team. For Selling through Distribution, I wrote the entire photoshoot script, set it up, and worked with the 3M "actors" and photographer in the 3M store for the shoot. (2008)
